K-pop sensation NCT DREAM have released their new album “ISTJ - The 3rd Album” today via Virgin Music. “ISTJ” is available on streaming and online platforms now; with the physical album releasing on 18 August in Australia. ListenHERE.

The title is named after one of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality types, a popular online personality test taken by millions of people each year. The album is made up of 10 songs, including the single ‘Broken Melodies’, title track ‘ISTJ’, and ‘Like We Just Met’ with lyrics co-written by all seven members. It hears the formidable K-pop boyband levelling up; flexing their vocal prowess and distinct personalities across a vibrant melting pot of R&B, hip-hop and 2000s inspired electronic-pop.

The song ‘ISTJ’, composed and written by renowned K-pop hit-maker KENZIE, is an addictive, hybrid hip-hop and dance track. It is a unique take on a love story, presenting a narrative of getting to know someone for who they truly are as a person instead of relying on MBTI personality types to define them. The album is preceded by the skyscraper pop single ‘Broken Melodies’, which followed NCT DREAM’s first-ever English single ‘Beatbox’, which was released in April. The original version was featured on the group’s second full-length repackage album.

“ISTJ” has already smashed NCT DREAM’s record of pre-orders with over 4 million copies; an overwhelming boost from the 2 million clocked up by last year’s release “Glitch Mode”.

The seven-member group most recently wrapped their biggest world tour to date, “THE DREAM SHOW2 : In A DREAM”, which spanned North America, Europe and South America. They sold-out their debut London show at the OVO Wembley Arena, earning rave reviews from NME, CLASH, Dork and trailed by Rolling Stone UK.
