SM ENTERTAINMENT TO LAUNCH NEW NCT REALITY SHOW IN JULY

SM Entertainment's newest reality show "NCT Universe: LASTART" will follow the formation of new NCT subunit.
Pre-debut reality show "NCT Universe: LASTART" will premiere on July 27, and will see the formation of NCT's final new subunit. This will mark the end of NCT's limitless expansion.
A recent teaser trailer reveals that the final members of NCT will be selected from a group of ten trainees. The final subunit will also include the recently revealed SM Rookies, Yushi and Sion.
There will be four available spots in the final debut lineup alongside Yushi and Sion, meaning six of the ten competing individuals will ultimately be eliminated.
"NCT Universe: LASTART" will involve a series of missions through which the trainees will be assessed, and will decide the final debut lineup. BoA and Super Junior's Eunhyuk will act as 'artist directors', hosting the show and judging the trainee's performances. Other SM artists will also feature in the series, to participate in and support the program.
"LASTART" itself is a compound of LAST and START, representing the end of NCT's limitless expansion and the beginning of a new subunit.
